These Website Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website at openalliancelearning.com (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The purchase of any course is governed by our separate Terms of Sale, and your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or to our services. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version, and the version that applies is the one in force when you use the Site. We may also change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the Site.

We aim to keep the Site available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict availability for business and operational reasons, and we will try to give reasonable notice where we can. You are responsible for arranging your own access to the Site and for ensuring that anyone who accesses it through your connection is aware of these Terms.

To use certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

• provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date;
• keep your login details confidential and not share them; and
• be responsible for all activity under your account.

If we have reason to believe your account details are being misused, or that you have breached these Terms, we may suspend or close your account. You must contact us promptly at admin@oalhub.co.uk if you suspect any unauthorised use.

• copy, reproduce, distribute, resell or exploit any part of the Site or its content except as expressly permitted;
• introduce viruses or other malicious or harmful material;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or any connected system;
• scrape, harvest or systematically extract data from the Site without our consent;
• disrupt or interfere with the Site or other users; or
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

All content on the Site and all course materials – including text, graphics, logos, video, audio, software and the "Open Alliance Learning" brand – are owned by or licensed to OALHub Limited and are protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the Site and (where you have purchased a course) its materials for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You must not copy, share, publish, sell or otherwise make the content available to anyone else, except where we expressly allow it.

If you submit content to the Site (for example a review, comment or forum post), you confirm that it is your own or that you have the right to share it, and that it is lawful and not offensive, misleading or infringing. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content in connection with operating and promoting our services. We may remove any content at our discretion.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These are provided for convenience only; we do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

The Site is provided for general information and to support our services. We are not liable for any business losses (the Site is intended for domestic and private use), or for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you buy a course through the Site, the purchase is governed by our Terms of Sale, which set out how a contract is formed, pricing, access, your cancellation rights and refunds.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect and use personal data and cookies.

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live; otherwise, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. If we do not enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation; your rights will not be affected.
